We're looking for Managers and employees in all areas like cashiers, meat department, bakery, restaurant, store and Gravings (where the best antojitos/snacks are made). Some positions require experience, especially if equipment operation is necessary. For example, slicers, band saws, ovens, mixers, compressors, and stoves.

 

Salary is competitive based on proven experience.

  • Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties
  • Coordinates sales promotion activities and prepares, or directs workers preparing merchandise displays
  • Supervises employees engaged in sales work, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records, and preparing daily record of transactions
  • Ensures compliance of employees with established retail policies and procedures, security, sales, and record keeping procedures and practices
  • Answers customer's complaints or inquiries
  • May work in other departments of the store
  • Performs various office and accounting functions
  • Provide customer service as currently defined by the employer within the scope of the position and within company policy.
  • Responsible for appropriately handling emergencies, customer complaints, employee or customer accidents and supervising all store personnel in absence of Store Director
  • Handles employee dissatisfactions and grievances
  • Operate electronically scanning cash register to total customers' final bill
  • Assistant in maintaining clean and safe work environment
  • Replace stock in display areas as needed. May be responsible for counting out-of-stock product
  • Perform various paperwork including, schedule writing, employee evaluation, corrective action plans, job postings and product recalls
  • May be responsible for completing close of day function in office
  • Receive payment for customer purchase and count back correct change.
  • Bag groceries in paper, canvas, or plastic bags. Lift bags into grocery cart.
  • May count tills when other cashier-checkers leave.
  • Assists other cashiers with computer, register, and scanner problems.
  • Replaces stock in displays surrounding the checkout area.
  • Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work environment within the store.
  • Supervises the sales floor to monitor service and replenishment of products.
  • Provide excellent customer service and responsible for appropriately handling emergencies, customer complaints, and employee or customer accidents.
  • Maintains high level of familiarity with company policies and procedures.
  • Cutting, trimming, chopping and grinding meat and seafood products following best in class procedures.
  • Tray product and wrap product to display it for our customers.
  • Responsible for maintaining a variety of high-quality, fresh product for our customers.
  • Handle freight, organize coolers, and assist with ordering product. You will operate electric meat saws, grinders and other meat processing equipment.
  • Provide product suggestions to our customers and assist them with special orders.
  • Provide our customers with exceptional customer service.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements throughout your daily work.
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, tools, and equipment.
  • In some areas, you may be required to obtain a food handler's certification.
  • Preparing dough for baking by placing/shaping dough in pans; spreading or sprinkling toppings allowing dough to rise and monitoring product while baking.
  • Maintaining a proper bake by adjusting thermostatic controls to regulate oven temperature.
  • Maintaining equipment by following proper cleaning procedures.
  • Slicing, packaging and labeling high-quality baked goods.
  • Enhancing the bakery operations and customer experience by accepting ownership for quality of baked product
  • Maintaining a positive relationship with all bakery café team members through open communication.
  • Maintaining a clean, healthy and safe work environment.
  • Prepare food for service. Setup and stock station with all necessary supplies
  • Cook menu items to recipe standards
  • Ensure food is served to company standards and in a timely manner
  • Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the restaurant's menu and products
  • Comply with safety and sanitation standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Always strives to exceed guest’s expectations
  • Complete kitchen tasks, such as line clean up and breakdown
  • Follow direction of management. Be a team player and assist wherever directed.
  • Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store.
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and be able to respond to questions and make suggestions about products.
  • Inform customers of grocery specials.
  • Provide customers with fresh products that they have ordered.
  • Recommend grocery items to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need.
  • Check product quality to ensure freshness. Review "sell by" dates and take appropriate action.
  • Order, label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
  • Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
  • Display a positive attitude. Promote trust and respect among associates.
  • Prepare snacks/food items for service.
  • Ensure food is served to company standards and in a timely manner
